WHEATLAND, MO. (March 23, 2021) – With the Lucas Oil Speedway’s opening night of the 2021 racing season less than two weeks away, drivers get their chance to dial in this Saturday with the annual preseason Open Test and Tune from 2-6 p.m.

Competitors in each of the four Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series classes – Cedar Creek Beef Jerky USRA Modifieds, Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mods, O’Reilly Auto Parts USRA Stock Cars and Missouri Metal Buildings ULMA Late Models – plus any others from the region are invited to participate.

Grandstand admission is free and pit passes are $25 ($10 for ages 5 and under). Concessions behind the pit-side grandstand will be open with a limited menu. Race fuel, tires and Lucas Oil products also will be available for sale.

The pit office will open at 10 a.m. and drivers also finish their registration paperwork upon check-in. They also are encouraged to register their information ahead of time with MyRacePass at myracepass.com/tracks/1865/registrations/3584.

“This is an ideal chance for drivers to get some testing done before our season opener on April 3,” Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. “I know our fans are eager to once again see race cars on the track and they’re welcomed to come out as we’ll open up the grandstands for free. It’ll just be good to see everyone after the long offseason.”

The Big Adventure Weekly Racing Series Spring Opener Presented by Benne Media is set for April 3 with the Missouri Metal Buildings ULMA Late Models in the spotlight with a $1,000-to-win main event sponsored by HICKAMO Country Store.

The Weekly Racing Series includes 14 events, from opening night through the Rempfer Memorial Season Championship on Aug. 28, which crowns season champions.

For ticket information for any event during the 2021 Lucas Oil Speedway season, contact Admissions Director Nichole McMillan at (417) 282-5984 or via email at Nichole@lucasoilspeedway.com. Fans also can use the online ticketing system.
