MARSHFIELD MOTOR SPEEDWAY RESCHEDULES EVENTS!

With much uncertainty with the current COVID-19 pandemic, and conversing with local and state officials, and for the safety of our fans & race teams, we’ve decided to move two events.  The events in question are the May 30 Eve of Destruction and the June 6 TUNDRA Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial.

The planned May 30 Eve of Destruction was already a make up from the cancelled mid-April event.  This event will be cancelled all together as Marshfield Motor Speedway plans to host an Eve of Destruction on June 27.

Members of the Aschenbrenner family, TUNDRA Super Late Model Series officials, and officials of Marshfield Motor Speedway, discussed that with the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, and the safety of everyone, it is in the best interest to move the event to August 29.  The Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial will be Round Four of Six for the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series.

Marshfield Motor Speedway’s opener will now be on June 13th. Competing will be the  CWRA “Central Wisconsin Racing Association” super late models, X-Treme 4’s, Bandits, Skidders, 2-Man Cruisers, and the 6-Cylinder Series.  CWRA President Dale Danielski stated, “We are excited to get back to the wide half-mile track, and respect Marshfield’s concern for the health and safety of everyone during this pandemic.”

The COVID-19 pandemic poses unprecedented challenges to all types of Wisconsin businesses whose operations are impacted by disruptions.  “We are as anxious as everyone else to get back racing, but will keep the health & safety of our fans, drivers, pit crews, and employees, a major priority,” said track promoter Wayne Brevik.
