It all started in 1976, the introduction of Columbia Tennessee’s Sterling Marlin to the racing nation. Sterling made his debut on the 5/8th mile high banks at Nashville, having never competed on the quarter mile track.

Stirlin Marlin, the grandson of Sterling and Paula Marlin made his racing debut last season at Huntsville Speedway Alabama. Young Stirlin late in the 2019 season made his debut on the 5/8th mile high banks. Stirlin, the fourth generation of the Marlin family to compete at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Stirlin Marlin will compete for rookie-of-the-year honors for the 2020 season, along with competing for a championship one-on-one with his grandfather and the rest of the field.
