The 2021 Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) schedule has been completed, with a big slate of twenty shows highlighting the series 24th season of racing action.

The series will kick off the season with a return to the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN for the first of two trips to the Otter Tail County oval in 2021. These will be the first races in Fergus Falls since 2015 when Ricky Weiss picked up the victory. These will also be the second and third trips for the series to I-94.

The series will make another return to another Minnesota oval, as the NLRA will return to the Buffalo River Speedway in Glyndon the Sunday night following the second I-94 race. This is scheduled to be the series’ first race at the quarter-mile at Buffalo River since 2016.

The River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks will play host to a record six shows in 2021. The Grand Forks Bullring will see the NLRA co-headline with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. The track will host the first of two Howie Schill Memorials on May 22nd, honoring our first series winner who passed away in December.

The second Howie Schill Memorial will take place during the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series show at the Red River Valley Speedway on August 22nd.

River Cities will also see the NLRA race on the Sunday of the Greater Grand Forks Fair on June 27th, Big Motor Mania on July 23rd, and the annual Prelude to the Johnny on September 9th.

The Grand Rapids Speedway will also see the series return to their track for the first time since 2010. The Greenbush Race Park will host two shows on June 12th and August 7th. The Norman County Raceway will also join the Minnesota slate of races, with races on June 24th and July 29th.

On the North Dakota side, the Devils Lake Speedway will host two shows, including the $2,000-to-win Golden Hammer Classic on June 26th, along with another show on July 31st. Single shows at the Nodak Speedway in Minot on August 8th, the Jamestown Speedway on August 14th, and the following night at the Sheyenne Speedway in Lisbon on August 15th.
