“The Champ is Here…. The Champ is Here….” – Muhammad Ali

When you have an event that just happens to be the most prestigious event in the country for Modifieds, Champions from all over come out in force, especially for the 7th running of the Hot Shoe 100 ($10,024 To Win / $1,000 to Start) THIS Weekend (Friday-Saturday, August 6-7th) at Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway

The Southern Pure Michigan speed plant will see an invasion unlike any other the tracks’ 32-year history of existence. Here is a 4-spot of just some of the Tour and/or Track Champions who will be on hand for the #HotShoe100 and each one will undeniably be a factor in the outcome of the 100-lap main

37 Trevor Berry – Clio, MI – One of the most diverse drivers in the field, who can wheel just about anything with four tires. Berry accomplished a very unique feat in 2012 when he won both the Midwest Modifieds Tour Championship as well as the Corrigan Oil Speedway (Spartan Speedway) Non-Winged Sprint Car Track Championship in the same season. Just last Friday, July 30th, Berry went to victory lane at Auto City Outdoor Event Center. He has seen time at Springport as well. Back in 2015, he led 66 laps of a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour race. Look for Berry to have a say in the outcome of the #HotShoe100 This Saturday night

61 Brad Springer – Hudson, IN – The 2010 Midwest Modifieds Tour Champion and a true veteran of the Modified wars throughout the Midwestern United States. Springer one of the most versatile drivers around and can adapt quickly to any layout. He has four career MMT wins and they’ve each come at a different facility.
